A 1993 agreement provided WaterRower
(UK) Ltd with the additional right to manufacture the WaterRower, under
license, for Europe. Workshops were established in the idyllic stately
home of the Earl and Countess of Sandwich, Mapperton Manor. In 1995 the
company consolidated its offices and workshop under one roof, in
Ravenscourt Park in West London, which remain it European Headquarters
to this day.
WaterRower Inc. and WaterRower (UK) Ltd existed under separate ownership
until a 1998 agreement merged the two entities under common ownership.
Today WaterRower (UK) is the holding company, with its Board of
Directors sitting in London.
WaterRower Australia Pty Ltd was formed in 2000 as a subsidiary of
WaterRower (UK) Ltd, to service Australasia and the Asian Region.
Today WaterRower manufactures in all three regional locations,
London for Europe, Warren for the Americas and Sydney for Asia Pacific.
It also has representative offices in Japan, Germany, Italy, Spain and
the Netherlands. |
